We have requirements for HP R&D labs (Networks) in Bangalore, details of which are given below:
Job Title: System Software Engineer
Job location: Bangalore
Job Description:
HP Networking Software Engineers participate in teams working on new networking products and solutions. This includes active involvement in product feature definition, SW development and test, customer documentation, and on-going product support.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work on customer reported issues in the switch software
- To work on reducing the defect backlog in the switch software
- To carry out switch software qualification on the new hardware platforms developed by the lab
- To investigate, design and implement new switch software features
- Programming in C or C++
- System programming on Unix, Vxworks, embedded Linux, GHS etc
- Concepts of Data structures and algorithms
Percentage cutoff: 70% and above only
Work experience -1.3 to 3 years of relevant experience in development.
